St Edward's, a co-educational (13-18) boarding school in north Oxford, England, exists to provide an excellent all-round education for each individual in its care

At St Edward’s we aim to enable all our pupils to make the most of their academic abilities. Through excellent teaching and a positive approach to learning we encourage our pupils to aim as high as possible, to enjoy their studies and to do well in examinations.

There are currently over 680 pupils in the School between the ages of 13 and 18. Of these 80% are boarding and 20% are day pupils. 60% of the pupils are boys and 40% are girls. The proportion of girls in the School has risen with the completion of the 5th girls boarding house. St Edward's adheres to a full boarding model. Day pupils are expected to participate fully in all aspects of School life.

Sports and activities within a school enable pupils to build a different kind of relationship with staff and fellow pupils. They learn the meaning of teamwork and develop a sense of camaraderie. We want the pupil’s experiences at St Edward’s to be rich, varied, stimulating and fun – outside the classroom as well as within. We want to help them find as many things as possible which are motivating, and help them to connect more strongly with the wider world.

St Edward’s offers a huge range of sports and activities – there’s something to suit everyone. To find out more click here.
