Contemporary sculpture in a peaceful garden in the heart of Summertown

The Turrill Sculpture Garden shows contemporary sculpture in a peaceful garden setting behind Summertown Library. It is freely open to the public.

 

We offer a changing display of work by local and national sculptors, and most pieces are for sale; all profits being re-invested in the Garden.

Times of opening are Monday & Friday 09:30-17:00, Tuesday & Thursday 09:30-18:30, Saturday 09:00-16:00, Closed Wednesday & Sunday.

'Light and Shade' - Steel and Glass Sculpture by Ian Marlow

The Turrill Garden welcomes the return of Ian Marlow, a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors who exhibits throughout the UK and is a celebrated artist with the National Trust. He specialises in elegant, dynamic artworks from stainless steel, glass and bronze with inspiration drawn from nature and creates sculpture that sit comfortably within any setting from formal gardens to minimalist urban landscapes.
